The Jinan government launched a 5G concept bus for residents to experience at Quancheng Square on Sept 21.

The bus uses the latest technologies, including 5G communication technology, edge computing and artificial intelligence.

It is also equipped with a facial recognition system through which passengers can buy tickets as well as a high-speed 5G wifi network.

The 5G concept bus is intended to test the waters in preparation for more future innovations.
