The 22nd Meeting of the Singapore-Shandong Business Council was held in both Jinan and Singapore via online and offline channels on Nov 11.
Agreements were signed for five projects involving investment promotion platforms, intelligent home decoration, smart cities, sewage treatment, and vocational education.
The Jinan Investment Promotional Center and Jinan Hi-tech Holding Group signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Shanghai Qilu (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., Shandong Association (Singapore), Oriens Asset Management Pte. Ltd., Rajah Tann LLP, and OCBC Wing Hang Bank (China) Limited, to jointly establish the Jinan (Singapore) Investment Promotion Center
According to the agreement, the center will serve as a non-profit service platform for financial, trade, and industrial cooperation between Jinan and Singapore.
It will make full use of Singapore's role as an international financial and trade center to better serve for the development of Jinan's export-oriented economy.
The Singapore-Shandong Business Council was launched 27 years ago and has made strong progress helping enterprises on both sides share investment and trade information and seek out cooperation opportunities.
