The 14th China (Shandong) International Food & Drinks Fair concluded in Jinan, Shandong province on Nov 29.

More than 600 well-known enterprises from home and abroad participated in the event.

The three-day fair had a 30,000-square-meter exhibition area that featured over 10 special exhibition zones covering wine, meat, dairy, packaging, grain and oil, condiments, health food, and agricultural products.

According to official data, the event received 85,000 visitors, achieved a turnover of more than 1.1 billion yuan ($166.9 million), and facilitated intended orders worth more than 1.5 billion yuan.

The fair also launched poverty alleviation cooperation exhibition areas for the Xiangxi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture in Hunan province and Wulong district of Chongqing city.

The Xiangxi Tujia and Miao autonomous prefecture has participated in the fair for three consecutive years. The number of Xiangxi enterprises participating in the exhibition has increased from 13 in 2018 to 44 this year.
