
The Baihuazhou Historical and Cultural Block is a demonstrative zone for the preservation of traditional architecture and renovation for modern use. It has an entertainment area, a cultural exhibition area, a folk life experience area, a commercial area and a tourism area.
1. BaihuazhouTraditional Handicraft Workshop
The Baihuazhou Traditional Handicraft Workshop, approved by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, is designed to showcase intangible cultural heritage items and traditional folk arts in Jinan, Shandong province, such as Lu (Shandong) embroidery, paper-cutting and shadow puppetry. Visitors not only get to view exquisite artworks, but can also learn about the way inheritors make these crafts.

2. Quanshui study room
Another highlight of Baihuazhou is the Quanshui study room, a siheyuan (courtyard) with two floors themed on spring water. Visitors can gain a better understanding of Jinan's history and culture at this place. The study room has developed a series of cultural projects where visitors can experience traditional Chinese woodblock printing, movable-type printing and some interactive activities.

3. Yuheju intangible cultural heritage experience room
The Yuheju intangible cultural heritage experience room at Baihuazhou is designed to display Jinan's traditional folk craftworks such as straw weaving products.

4. Rabbit King shop
The Rabbit King, a clay rabbit figurine, is a traditional toy made from mud for the Mid-Autumn Festival in Jinan. The clay rabbit figurines are made from mud along the Yellow River and have heights that range from 10 to 50 centimeters. The clay artworks are made in the form of tourist souvenirs and holiday decorations by combining aesthetics and functionality.

5. Quanshui Tofu Museum
The Quanshui Tofu Museum is a shop selling tofu in Baihuazhou. The tofu in the shop is popular among visitors as it is made using spring water.
Old fashioned grindstones, dustpans and water tanks can be found at the museum, which showcases the life led by those from the older generations.
