Pingyin county in Jinan, East China's Shandong province, recently released a route for tourists to enjoy blooming rose flowers ahead of the 2021 Pingyin Rose Cultural Festival.

The route integrates rose culture, rose flowers fields, a rose culture street, a rose processing workshop, and rose delicacies. People can witness rose plantations, learn about the history of roses, and taste rose delicacies.

Pingyin county, which is known as the "home of roses in China", has been planting roses for more than 1,300 years and has a plantation area measuring more than 30,000 mu (2,000 hectares). The county will host its annual rose cultural festival on May 7 with a series of promotional activities.
