Local government has made great efforts in helping poverty alleviation. Last year, 1,006 poverty-stricken villages in the city were lifted out of poverty.

Since 2017, 592 primary and secondary schools and kindergartens have been built to serve local education. The number of people covered by the city's basic medical insurance program increased by 28 percent.
