Lingong Heavy Machinery Co (LGMG), established in 2012 in Jinan Innovation Zone, has developed itself into a smart manufacturing enterprise with its operating revenue and industrial output both exceeding 10 billion yuan ($1.45 billion) over the past decade.

LGMG has explored its way forward through entrepreneurship.

In 2012, the enterprise aimed at developing mining trucks and realized creative integration of engineering machinery technology and mining truck technology. The enterprise promoted a full range of mining vehicle products, which have formed China's mining vehicle market layout.

In 2014, it took a mining truck order worth 360 million yuan from a Burmese customer, which helped it explore overseas markets. To date, the enterprise's products are exported to overseas markets in Southeast Asia, Africa, and countries like Russia and Mongolia.

In recent years, LGMG has been recognized as a national manufacturing champion, and Shandong province's gazelle company and leading company in the science and technology sector.

In 2022, LGMG made the lists of global top 50 engineering machinery manufacturers and global top 10 high-altitude working machinery manufacturers, which exemplified its strong competiveness and developing potential.

LGMG's leap development over the past decade is not only due to its emphasis on market-orientation and quality, but is also owing to Jinan's good business environment, according to Zhi Kaiyin, the enterprise's general manager.
