Jinan promotes growth of human resources sector
Jinan has been actively promoting the development of the human resources service industry. By focusing on improving the quality and capacity of human resources services, the city aims to promote the sustainable and healthy development of the industry, thereby providing high-quality job opportunities.
By the end of 2022, the city had a total of 1,502 operational human resources service agencies with a combined annual operating revenue of 37.6 billion yuan ($5.26 billion). The industry employed 16,000 professionals and provided services for more than 310,000 employers, government officials announced at a news conference on Dec 14.
The city government has made efforts to enhance employment services, strengthen talent attraction and serve the real economy. In 2023, it initiated a special action plan to promote employment in the human resources service industry.
To date, the city has organized 473 recruitment events and made available over 429,000 job positions.
The city has also intensified the promotion of market-oriented talent attraction campaigns and guided industry institutions to attract talent. Since the beginning of this year, 378 human resources service agencies have provided in headhunting services, successfully bringing in over 11,000 high-end talents for more than 1,000 key enterprises.
By effectively integrating high-quality resources in the city, the city authorities have established a national-level human resources service industry park. The cumulative revenue generated by the park currently stands at 52.4 billion yuan, with tax revenues reaching 553 million yuan.
