The Jinan Start-up Area for Growth Drivers Transformation planned a serial business attraction and promotion event to build a better business environment by bridging better communication between the government and enterprises and help solve enterprises' difficulties.

The initial event invited entrepreneurs from 15 leading enterprises including BYD, China's new energy vehicle manufacturer, State Power Investment Corporation, e-commerce platform JD, and Siemens to discuss project processes, solutions, and future development with managers that are in charge of the Jinan Start-up Area.

Since its establishment in April 2021, the start-up area has been bolstering its efforts to develop projects. For example, based on the BYD projects, the start-up area partnered with Jiyang district and Shanghe county in Jinan to carry out business attraction work for the new-energy automobile industrial chain to develop six supportive industrial chains of automobile components in surrounding areas.

In addition, the start-up area gathered resources and offered solutions to help projects start production on time.

To date, the Jinan Start-up Area for Growth Drivers Transformation has attracted 36 industrial projects worth 40 billion yuan ($5.86 billion).
