In April 2021, Jinan Start-up Area for Growth Drivers Transformation was approved and established as the second Start-up Area in China after the Start-up Area of Xiong'an New Area. 

Located in the north of Jinan, it covers an area of 798 square kilometers and focuses on the development of strategic emerging industries such as new generation information technology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy and new materials. 

A city of the future is rapidly rising alongside the Yellow River and will become the most shining pearl with modern features in the Yellow River Basin. 

Foreign enterprises in the fields of high-end equipment and intelligent manufacturing, digital economy, hydrogen energy and high-end green construction are welcome to participate in the construction of the Start-up Area.
