Jinan, the capital city of East China's Shandong province, is gearing up to celebrate the 2023 Chinese Farmer's Harvest Festival with a series of events and exhibitions.

During a press conference held on Sept 21, Li Junqing, deputy governor of Shanghe county of Jinan, unveiled the highlights of this year's festivities, which will coincide with the 8th Jinan International Horticultural Expo and the 5th Jinan Urban Agriculture Products Expo.

One of the key objectives of the two expos is to boost the income and prosperity of local flower farmers. More than 200 exhibition booths will showcase a diverse range of floral, tea, herbs, fruits, and vegetables, as well as floral art materials and landscaping machinery.

The exhibition will also create an immersive experience for visitors, who will get to explore over 100 themed landscapes created with various flowers and plants.
