Xigengdao Street in Jinan's Mingfucheng Historical Area reopened on Oct 1 after undergoing renovations and has quickly become a popular destination.

Stretching over 400 meters, the street connects major attractions like Wangfu Pool and Baihuazhou Historical and Cultural Block. It runs from Quancheng Road in the south to Qushuiting Street in the north, with the Pearl Spring Courtyard separated by just a wall.

The street's east wall includes a poetry corridor featuring poems about Jinan, while newly installed ancient-style flower windows also provide lovely views of Pearl Spring, perfect for taking photos.

At the northern end is the Gaosheng Inn, where late Qing dynasty (1644-1911) writer Liu E, author of The Travels of Laocan, once lived. The inn combines a cultural exhibition center dedicated to the book with dining options, creating a lively atmosphere.
