The maiden flight of a Cirrus SR20 aircraft at Jinan's Shanghe Airport on Nov 26 marked the launch of a custom and private low-altitude route from Chongqing's Longxing town.

The fight route is expected to inject new vitality into the development of the low-altitude economy in Shanghe county and Jinan as a whole, laying a solid foundation for the economic development and improvement of the regional transportation network between Shandong province and the city of Chongqing.

The Jinan Shanghe Airport, founded in 2022, has developed many applications under its "low-altitude" service model, such as aviation tourism, flight training, agricultural and forestry protection, emergency rescue, and aviation material sales.

The flight route is operated by Lonssa Air, an aviation service company in Longxing town. Its main business includes aircraft certificate rental and sales, juvenile aviation education, cultural tourism, and global high-end travel, and it has served more than 1,000 corporate customers.

The two sides will collaborate to establish three major bases dedicated to flight training, aviation education, and practical training.
