A warm-up event for the 2025 International Winter Swimming World Challenge (Jinan) and the 12th China (Jinan) International Open Winter Spring Swimming Competition was held at Jinan's Huancheng Park on Dec 10.

The event featured a 300-meter freestyle swim, attracting 100 winter swimmers. Participants were divided into three age-based groups. No rankings were recorded, and all participants received a commemorative prize upon completion.

The 12th China (Jinan) International Open Winter Spring Swimming Competition will be held on Jan 11, 2025, according to local authorities.

As the world's only winter swimming event held in spring water, the Jinan winter spring swimming competition provides swimmers with a chance to submerge themselves in spring water and enjoy the beauty of Jinan.
