The Characteristic Competition Tracks by Overseas Talents in Jinan of the 7th China (Jinan) New Growth Drivers Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest was held from July 13 to 15, attracting over 40 high-level overseas talents from around the globe to the capital city of Shandong province.

The Characteristic Competition Tracks by Overseas Talents in Jinan, a new addition to this year's contest, focused on fields such as life and health, advanced manufacturing, digital economy, green and low-carbon technology, and cultural creativity.

Out of the 37 projects that made it to the finals, six stood out, with one first prize, two second prizes, and three third prizes awarded.

The competition emphasizes the practical implementation of projects, offering comprehensive docking services throughout the process. Participants presented their projects for evaluation and engaged in financial matchmaking discussions.

During the event, Jinan attracted more than 40 outstanding overseas entrepreneurial talents.

Contestants said that the competition not only provided a valuable opportunity to showcase their projects, but also allowed them to experience Jinan's rich cultural heritage and favorable business environment. The event facilitated mutual exchange and learning, resulting in significant gains for all involved.

Jinan has hosted the contest for seven consecutive years, accumulating 498 implemented projects and attracting 29 academician teams, making it an important platform for drawing global innovation and entrepreneurial resources.
