A Qixi-Festival-themed performance of "Encounter with Daming Lake: Performance on Boat" took place on Daming Lake, Jinan, on Aug 10, which was Qixi Festival, or Chinese Valentine's Day.

Dancers followed the classic melodies, creating a visual feast amidst shifting lights, captivating the audience along the shore.

The performance blended traditional culture with cinematic elements, showcasing the unique charm of Jinan while also celebrating the festival. It was intended to encourage visitors to visit Daming Lake for a boat ride and explore more nighttime attractions.

"Encounter with Daming Lake: Performance on Boat" is a regular nighttime performance at Daming Lake. It centers on the culture of Jinan, combining the lake's historical significance with traditional music, opera, dance, and modern artistic elements, offering a creative and artistic experience.

The show begins touring around the lake from the north gate pier of Daming Lake at 7:40 pm every night, except during bad weather and other special circumstances.
