The east venue of the Jinan Science and Technology Museum opened on Sept 22. Spanning 10,400 square meters, this new facility features a comprehensive four-floor exhibition and education area of 7,324 square meters, including an exhibition hall that measures 4,800 square meters.

The venue, featuring the theme "Experience and Exploration", includes four exhibition halls called "Scientific Enlightenment", "Scientific Experience", "Scientific Discovery", and "Scientific Inquiry".

It features over 160 exhibits that showcase Jinan's unique qualities and rich economic and cultural history while promoting innovation. The collection includes carefully selected pieces from the Shandong Science and Technology Museum.

The exhibitions seamlessly blend popular science with local features, merging historical culture with modern technology and art. Covering fundamental concepts in mathematics, physics, and chemistry, the exhibits also include insights from life sciences, environmental science, energy, and information technology.

In addition to its core exhibitions and educational offerings, the venue will leverage the strengths of the Jinan Association for Science and Technology. With the association's rich resources, diverse educational equipment, and a team of skilled professionals, the museum is committed to hosting engaging activities year-round and enhancing public understanding of science.

Focusing on the diverse science education needs of schools and students, the venue also aims to deepen collaboration between the museum and schools, enhancing integration of scientific education both inside and outside the classroom.
