Jinan sees fruitful results at 4th CGBP
The fourth Conference of Great Business Partners began on Oct 30 in Jinan, capital of Shandong province, yielding fruitful results.
During the opening ceremony, 45 key projects on sectors including information technology, advanced equipment, high-end chemicals, and modern financial services were signed. Among these, nine foreign-invested projects totaled over 1 billion dollars, while 36 domestic projects involved a combined investment of 34.59 billion yuan ($4.86 billion).
Held three times previously, the conference has facilitated more than 700 cooperation projects, becoming an important hub for exchange and collaboration.
Lin Wu, secretary of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee, highlighted that Shandong has strengthened its industrial foundation and innovation capacity while providing a stable and favorable business environment, and expressed the province's readiness to deepen cooperation with domestic and international enterprises.
Speaking at the conference, An Lijia, vice chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, praised the conference for its important role and encouraged participants to boost confidence, foster innovation, and fulfill social responsibilities.
According to Pan Yongchang, executive chairman of Global Government and Business Exchange and Cooperation Alliance, Confucian business culture promotes win-win cooperation, innovation, ecological responsibility, and moral accountability.
The Investment Promotion Blueprint of Shandong Province's Industrial Chains was released, featuring four sections: a province overview, key industries, open platforms and investment protection, which highlighted 979 key enterprises and 336 major industrial parks.
The List of Target Enterprises for Industrial Chain Investment Promotion in Shandong Province focuses on 19 industrial chains and introduces 907 domestic and overseas enterprises across 67 subsectors. In addition, the province launched its investment promotion logo.
Entrepreneurs engaged with historical Confucian merchants through artificial intelligence technology, exploring industrial upgrading, technological breakthroughs, and the balance between commercial success and social value.
