Jinan skateboarder wins women's championship at 2025 FISE Macau
Jinan athlete Cui Chenxi claimed first place in the women's professional category at the 2025 FISE Battle of the Champions, an international skateboarding competition held in Macau from March 21 to 23.
The contest attracted top skateboarders from around the world. Cui triumphed after two days and four rounds of intense competition, defeating both international and domestic challengers, including Japanese skateboarder Nakayama Funa, a bronze medalist at the Tokyo Olympics, to claim the title.
Fifteen-year-old Cui has already made history, becoming the youngest champion at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games at age 13 and representing China at the Paris Olympics, where she placed fourth-setting an Olympic record for Chinese skateboarders. She is currently preparing for the 15th National Games.
