A group of 13 international students from Kenya visited the Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Center in Lixia district, Jinan on April 9, where they explored the city's unique craftsmanship, including cloisonne, traditional incense-making techniques, and traditional tie-dyeing methods.

The students are participants of the 2025 Short-Term Study Seminar, hosted by the Kenyatta University Confucius Institute and Shandong Normal University.

The program offers a series of cultural classes that combine language learning with calligraphy, martial arts, and traditional Chinese culture, aiming to foster cooperation and cultural exchange between China and Kenya in education and culture.
