The 13th China International Modern Agriculture Expo and the 2nd Shandong Modern Agricultural Equipment Expo kicked off on May 10 in Jinan, capital of Shandong province.

The expo covers over 30,000 square meters and includes themed sections on modern agricultural achievements, smart farming technologies, advanced agricultural machinery, quality produce, and agricultural supplies. More than 470 enterprises are taking part in the event.

Smart agriculture and high-end intelligent farming equipment are highlights of this year’s expo. Among them, high-performance seeders have drawn widespread attention from participating companies, with a single order reaching 13 million yuan ($1.8 million).

Representatives from over 10 countries, including Russia, Belarus, Thailand, and Vietnam, attended the expo and talked with representatives of Chinese research institutes and companies, boosting the global reach of Shandong’s agricultural technology and equipment.

In addition, a series of promotional and matchmaking events will be held to connect suppliers and buyers, creating an integrated platform for showcasing, exchanging, and promoting modern agricultural equipment.
