Celebrating Intl Day of Dialogue Among Civilizations reflects shared humanity
The first International Day of Dialogue Among Civilizations is being celebrated globally on June 10. The day was established by the 78th United Nations General Assembly last June, based on China's proposal. It aims to enhance global understanding of the importance of civilizational diversity and exchanges.
In today's world, with communication barriers diminishing, diverse cultures and lifestyles are increasingly intersecting. This day encourages different civilizations to learn from each other and unite to address global challenges. It reflects China's efforts to build a community with a shared future for mankind and the wisdom of Confucianism.
