The third Haiyou Talent Festival kicked off in Jinan on June 12 and will run through July 12.

The event aims to promote Jinan's unique urban environment and effective talent attraction policies, offering a better understanding of the city's development opportunities and talent strengths.

Focusing on the themes of talent development, alumni engagement, and event-driven growth, this year's festival will feature 68 activities across six main categories, including 50 key activities and 18 special ones highlighting the alumni economy.

In addition, the festival will feature an explore-the-city program, offering free admission to all state-owned scenic spots rated 3A and above. This gives participants a chance to enjoy the city's natural beauty and cultural charm while deepening their connection with Jinan.

In recent years, Jinan has made steady progress in advancing its talent strategy, yielding remarkable results. Guided by the vision of attracting top talent from around the world, the city has been working to create a full-lifecycle support system for professionals.

In 2024, Jinan's total talent pool exceeded 2.8 million people, with over 150,000 new young talents added. For three consecutive years, the city has been recognized as one of China's Best Cities for Talent Attraction.
