Immersive aerospace art exhibition debuts in Jinan
An exciting new exhibition to be launched on June 28 in Jinan — capital of East China's Shandong province — is inviting visitors to explore the fascinating world of space.
From walking through a life-sized space station module to experiencing a simulated spacewalk or gazing at Earth from orbit, the show — called Infinity: China Aerospace — brings the marvels of space exploration vividly to life.

Opening for a trial operation on June 25 at the Jinan Sunac International Sports Center in Licheng district, the exhibition integrates scientific innovation with artistic expression. Its organizers say that it offers an interactive, multi-sensory journey that redefines the traditional museum experience.

Occupying 5,000 square meters, the exhibition includes 11 themed sections and 20 distinctive zones, displaying more than 50 exhibits.
These range from high-precision models of spacecraft and satellites to immersive installations and advanced interactive technologies. Together, they aim to trace the remarkable evolution of China's aerospace endeavors — from ancient beginnings to modern achievements.
Key features include a "rocket forest" where 17 rockets can be launched simultaneously using real-life footage and surround sound, as well as a spacecraft gallery featuring iconic models such as the Yutu lunar rover, the Fengyun-1 satellite and the Wukong space telescope.
A giant projection dome simulates the breathtaking views to be had of Earth from the Tiangong Space Station, while other projections take visitors on virtual missions to the Moon and Mars.

Set to operate for three years after its June 28 opening to the public, the exhibition is deemed to be a major addition to Jinan's growing cultural tourism landscape and will serve as a regional hub for space science education.
