This victory is the latest in a series of remarkable achievements for the team since its founding in 2021. In just four years, the team has secured eight provincial championships, three national titles, and, in 2023, captured the 2023 ISF Football World School Championship — cementing its reputation as a rising force in youth football.

The team's success reflects a broader commitment to sports education at the school. Recognized in 2015 as one of China's first model schools in football, Licheng No 2 High School has integrated football into its educational strategy, emphasizing the sport's role in developing resilience, teamwork, and leadership.
The China Highschool Football League National, organized by the Ministry of Education, serves as a cornerstone of China's school football system, spanning primary to university levels.
