The Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport will open a new international route connecting the cities of Seoul, Jinan, and Sanya on Aug 1.

Operated once daily by Shandong Airlines, the service will use a Boeing 737-800 with a maximum capacity of 176 passengers.

Flight SC8005 departs Seoul at 08:45 and arrives in Jinan at 09:25. It continues to Sanya at 10:55, landing at 14:10. Return flight SC8006 leaves Sanya at 15:10, stops in Jinan at 18:40, and reaches Seoul at 22:40.

The new link will enhance connectivity among the three cities. Benefiting from the visa-free policy between China and South Korea, the route will support growing demand for tourism and business travel while deepening cooperation across sectors.

The addition will further strengthen Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport’s flight network, increasing daily flights to Seoul to four and reinforcing its position as a regional aviation hub. The airport will continue expanding partnerships and routes to better serve travelers and support regional growth.
