Jinan launches midsummer carnival to boost night-time economy
The 2025 Quancheng Night 8 PM – Midsummer Carnival Season kicked off at Jinan Fantawild Oriental Heritage on July 5.
The event, guided by concepts such as creativity, immersive experience, youthful consumption, and mobile dissemination, integrates diverse industries including tourism, culture, commerce, and sports to invigorate Jinan's night-time culture and tourism consumption.

In recent years, the Jinan Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism has introduced a series of policy measures to promote the culture and tourism consumption market, hosting over 300 characteristic activities.
Jinan has established nine national and provincial night-time culture and tourism consumption clusters, and four provincial culture and tourism markets. In the first half of this year, Jinan's night-time tourism-related consumption grew by 13 percent year-on-year, with overnight visitors increasing by over 7 percent.
In the first half of 2025, "Night Jinan" has become a key driver for promoting consumption and stabilizing growth, with a strong focus on diversified scenarios. The young demographic, aged 19-34, accounts for over 80 percent of night tour visitors, indicating a youth-driven market with significant potential for further growth.
