Jinan launches direct air cargo route to Tokyo
Jinan, capital of Shandong, launched its new international all-cargo flight route to Tokyo on August 8, marking a significant milestone in the strengthening of cross-border trade between China and Japan.
Operated by China Postal Airlines using Boeing 737 freighters, the route runs three times a week, connecting Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport and the Narita International Airport in Tokyo.
The route is expected to expand Jinan airport's international air cargo network and promote a logistics model that combines international air transport with domestic road delivery.
By leveraging the nationwide delivery network of China Postal Airlines, the new air service will enable next-day delivery of cross-border parcels through air and road integration, providing cost-effective solutions for e-commerce businesses.
