Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, staged the 2025 Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival celebration in its Changqing district from Sept 20 to 21.

The event showcased smart agricultural machinery, high-quality local products and vibrant folk performances, highlighting Jinan's rural vitalization and harvest achievements.

Local specialties from the city's districts and countries were promoted. Demonstrations of intelligent agricultural machinery, unmanned aerial plant protection and quadruped robot applications showcased the transformation from traditional farming to modern, smart agriculture.

The event featured exhibition and sales zones presenting specialty products, rural delicacies and intangible cultural heritage crafts, with 358 enterprises displaying more than 1,500 products.

Online e-commerce platforms also promoted their offerings, while financial institutions provided financing services for farmers and agricultural enterprises.

Immersive activities, including specialty agricultural produce contests for peaches, rice and tea, as well as diverse folk performances created a vibrant and lively atmosphere for visitors.

In recent years, Jinan has made great efforts to promote its agricultural products. The city has developed 77 well-known provincial and national agricultural brands and expanded its regional public brand Quanshui Renjia, which now includes 140 authorized companies.
