Jinan photo exhibition memorializes war victory
A photo exhibition highlighting Jinan's role in the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression (1931-45) and the World Anti-Fascist War opened at the city's Five Dragon Pool Park on Sept 1.
The exhibition, divided into five parts and featuring 180 precious historical photos and documents, traces the city's struggle from the May Fourth Movement of 1919 to the victory in the resistance war.
More than 30 photos are displayed for the first time, providing significant historical and educational value.
The exhibition is free to the public and will run until Sept 15. It will later tour schools, enterprises, and communities, helping more people, especially youth, understand Jinan's wartime history.
