Drones light up Jinan for Chinese New Year
Jinan ushered in the upcoming Chinese New Year with a record-setting drone light show, as 10,000 synchronized drones illuminated the night sky.
Using the sky as a canvas, the show depicted the city's cultural heritage and modern ambitions with shifting drone formations. Images of the legendary Emperor Shun (pre-21st century BC), Daming Lake, and Qianfo Mountain appeared alongside animated scenes of leaping koi and soaring egrets, reflecting Jinan's natural and historical essence.
The performance also showcased the city's contemporary development, with outlines of skyscrapers and scenes of a child interacting with a robot, emphasizing technological advancement.
The finale featured a galloping horse surrounded by digital fireworks, welcoming the upcoming Year of the Horse and concluding the celebration on a vibrant note.
