Daming Lake, one of Jinan's best-known scenic landmarks, reveals a different side after sunset. A lotus-themed corridor is currently set up at its south gate pier, while the Minghu Barhop Carnival is being held along the lakeside, offering visitors new ways to enjoy the city's iconic waterfront.

The corridor takes inspiration from the lotus, with large lotus-shaped installations welcoming visitors at the entrance and layers of artificial lotus leaves creating a canopy overhead. Willow trees, koi-inspired lights, and the lake beyond complete the scene. During the day, the corridor provides shade for visitors waiting to board sightseeing boats. After dark, illuminated lotus leaves and koi lanterns bring the walkway to life, with light and water creating a changing lakeside view.

The Minghu Barhop Carnival is an evening event featuring live music, craft beer, food, and traditional handicrafts. Four themed areas offer distinct experiences, including food and cultural markets, open-air performances, and relaxed gatherings by the lake.
