Located in the Zhangqiu district of Jinan, the Datang Baiquan post station recreates the lively atmosphere of the Tang Dynasty (618–907), offering visitors an immersive journey into daily life in ancient China.

Inspired by the traditional post stations that once connected travelers, merchants and officials, the site recreates bustling streets, shops, and social scenes from the Tang era. Visitors can begin their journey by receiving a personalized travel document inspired by historical passes, which allows them to explore the site, interact with performers, and take part in various activities using specially designed replicas of Kaiyuan Tongbao, a famous Tang Dynasty coin.

The post station features four immersive performance venues showcasing different aspects of Tang culture, including traditional arts, Silk Road influences, and tea culture. Visitors can enjoy live shows, encounter costumed characters, try out Tang-style clothing and makeup, and experience traditional games such as cuju (today's football game), touhu (pitch-pot game) and martial arts activities.

Beyond performances, the destination offers a range of cultural experiences, including traditional handicraft workshops, themed restaurants featuring flavors from different regions of China, and Tang-style accommodations inspired by ancient inns.

Blending cultural storytelling with interactive experiences, the Datang Baiquan post station provides an engaging way for visitors to explore the customs, entertainment and everyday life of the Tang Dynasty.
