Yueya Spring in Jinan has recorded its longest continuous flow since monitoring began in 2004, highlighting the city's stable groundwater conditions and vibrant spring landscape.

As of May 13, the spring had flowed continuously for 249 days, surpassing the previous record of 232 days set between 2022 and 2023. The current eruption cycle began in September 2025 and has continued into early summer this year.

Located in Wulongtan Park, Yueya Spring is known as the most sensitive among Jinan's 72 famous springs in reflecting groundwater levels. Its signature "waterfall" scene – where water cascades from mushroom-shaped rocks – typically appears only when the groundwater level at Baotu Spring exceeds 29 meters.

The sustained flow of Yueya Spring is a major indicator of Jinan's overall spring conditions, signaling that all 72 famous springs across the city remain active.
