During the Spring Festival holiday, Jinan's cultural and tourism market reached new heights. Thirty scenic spots across the city recorded 6.23 million visits, marking a 48.9 percent year-on-year increase and generating 170 million yuan ($24.67 million) in revenue.

The travel boom was supported by an efficient transportation network that handled 1.51 million long-distance passenger trips, including 1.02 million by rail, 292,000 by air and 197,000 by road, ensuring smooth mobility throughout the holiday.

A diverse lineup of more than 70 cultural events animated scenic areas citywide, blending time-honored traditions with cutting-edge technology. Lantern fairs illuminated major attractions, including the World's Best Spring Scenic Area, while folk performances such as stilt-walking and dragon dances energized themed markets at Daming Lake, bringing Jinan's cultural heritage to life.

The city also turned into a dynamic performance stage, offering a rich variety of shows ranging from classical opera to modern immersive productions. Traditional genres such as Peking Opera and Lyuju Opera proved popular, along with musicals and interactive performances that drew large crowds.

Mingshui Ancient Town led the trend with around 300 daily performances, featuring international theatrical productions and traditional fish-lantern parades. Highlights included an innovative underwater drama at Sunac Resort and a Singaporean cultural showcase at Quehua Sino-Singapore Garden.

Complementing the festivities, 13 ice and snow venues offered winter-themed entertainment, while museums hosted 113 special exhibitions, among which was an exhibition featuring horse-themed cultural relics.
