Jinan is set to connect employers with job seekers to meet the city's growing demand for talent in key and emerging industries, with more than 30,000 jobs to be offered at its sixth Jinan High-caliber Talent Attraction Conference on Sept 20.

More than 2,000 employers will participate in the event at the Shandong International Convention and Exhibition Center, which will feature 16 recruitment zones covering sectors such as artificial intelligence, aerospace and the low-altitude economy, integrated circuits and electronic information, intelligent manufacturing, new energy equipment, advanced healthcare, biomanufacturing, finance and modern services.

Positions will be available to recent graduates, young professionals, experienced specialists and skilled workers, and there will also be opportunities for college and graduate students seeking internships.

The 16 zones include a dedicated area for doctoral and overseas talent, as well as one covering the high-quality development corridor linking Jinan and Qingdao.

Eligible talent from outside Jinan will also receive complimentary accommodation, transportation and sightseeing services.
