Jinan will host the Fourth Haiyou Talent Festival from June 12 to July 12, featuring 46 events aimed at attracting global talent.

The month-long festival will include six sections covering talent recruitment, investment promotion, technology commercialization, academic exchanges, talent services, and cultural programs. Major events include: the third Jinan alumni economy conference for investment attraction and talent recruitment, the "Belt and Road" Chinese businessmen cooperation exchange, and the Ninth China (Jinan) New Growth Drivers Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest.

Focusing on the city's efforts to utilize its talent, alumni, and event-driven economies, the festival will act as a platform for connecting talent with opportunities. A series of matchmaking activities will promote collaboration between research institutions and enterprises, accelerating the commercialization of scientific and technological advancements. Key events will concentrate on attracting projects in strategic areas like the low-altitude economy, biomedicine, and new energy vehicles.

Jinan is supporting these efforts with its "Double 30 Measures" talent policy, which provides comprehensive assistance for employment, entrepreneurship, and daily life. The city also provides expanding opportunities in emerging sectors such as aerospace information, artificial intelligence, and quantum technology, backed by a strong network of innovation platforms.

Beyond professional opportunities, participants will be invited to experience Jinan's cultural appeal through over 100 cultural and tourism activities, including Lyu Opera and paper-cutting experiences, as well as other programs highlighting the city's heritage.
