Xiaoya's iF Design Award win marks high-end industrial leap in Jinan
Xiaoya Group, a State-owned enterprise in Jinan, has reached a major milestone as its AURA series washing machines recently won the iF Design Award, one of the world's most prestigious design honors.
The AURA series distinguishes itself through the integration of advanced technology with human-centric and sustainable design. Using physical sterilization methods like steam, ozone, and ultraviolet light, these machines maintain high hygiene standards while minimizing chemical use. Features such as AI-driven automatic detergent dispensing and wastewater recycling boost resource efficiency, while optimized washing programs help protect delicate fabrics and cut down on microplastic emissions.
The product's success is underpinned by the Xiaoya intelligent manufacturing industrial park, organizing the company into three main segments: smart washing, smart cold chain, and intelligent vehicle equipment. In laundry, Xiaoya aims to produce 650,000 large-capacity household and commercial machines annually, while shifting from traditional manufacturing to offering integrated "equipment+data" solutions for residential and commercial clients.
In addition to washing appliances, the group is moving into new sectors. With an expected annual capacity of 30,000 commercial intelligent refrigeration units, Xiaoya is entering the smart cold chain market for modern retail and strengthening collaborations with industry leaders like Sinotruk in automotive components.
Backed by more than 500 authorized patents and continuous R&D investment, the company is pushing forward with a strategy of innovative design and intelligent manufacturing. According to CEO Li Yonggang, the group will continue to accelerate innovation and production while developing an integrated ecosystem to support long-term growth.
