A new all-cargo air route linking Jinan and Incheon is set to strengthen trade and logistical ties between the two cities, providing a faster cargo transportation option.

The inaugural SF Airlines flight, carrying more than 30 metric tons of active pharmaceutical ingredients, auto parts, and cross-border e-commerce products, departed from Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport for Incheon International Airport in South Korea on Aug 28.

The Jinan–Incheon cargo service operates on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Outbound shipments mainly include biopharmaceutical products, auto parts, textiles, and garments, and cross-border e-commerce goods from Jinan.

Inbound cargo includes consumer electronics, fresh produce, and seafood, offering a broader range of logistics options for businesses engaged in trade between China and South Korea.

The launch of the route adds a new international cargo link to Jinan's air transport network, supporting the city's efforts to expand its logistics connectivity and facilitate trade with overseas markets.
