Shi Datuo, president of the Shandong General Chamber of Commerce in Thailand, shared insights on the international expansion of Jinan enterprises during the fifth session of the 18th Jinan Municipal People's Congress and the fifth session of the 15th Jinan Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

Shi, using his legal expertise, stressed the importance of legal compliance and market localization in overseas expansion. He advised enterprises to understand the laws and culture of the target country and to seek professional consultation to ensure safe and compliant operations.

Shi also highlighted the role of the overseas Chinese community in fostering practical partnerships. He mentioned a visit to Jinan in October 2025, during which the Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, coordinated by the Jinan Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, signed an agreement with Sinotruk.
