Longshan millet is a specialty food in Zhangqiu district, Jinan, and is also included in the national geographic indication list of agricultural products.

Longshan millet contains a lot of nutrients, and is often prepared as a gift for the elderly and children to nourish their bodies since it contains more vitamin A, vitamin B1, and vitamin B2 than other millets.
