This winter came rather hastily, with snowflakes falling before the leaves can. Thankfully, sights featuring a blend of autumn and winter can still be found in Jinan.

In northern China, it's rare to have such winter scenes. The winter in Jinan can be described perfectly with the words "warm" and "sunny".

Here, the howling northwest wind is uncommon, instead, the city is occasionally bathed in warm sunshine, which is bestowed generously upon this place. The sunshine here makes the golden ginkgo leaves shimmer and the water of Daming Lake glisten. In winter, even the sunlight is gentle, and when you look up, you will see a sky as clear and pure as can be.

In Jinan, the most pleasant way to spend winter days is to stroll through the old streets and observe the people and scenery unfolding before you. The old streets, ancient lanes, clear springs, and lake waters all merge together at a certain moment, creating a grand painting.

In winter, you must take a look at Jinan's springs. The beautiful scene of the springs is a unique gift of winter. Although the water level of Baotu Spring in winter is not as high as that in autumn, a faint mist will form on the water surface due to the cold, presenting a fairytale landscape.
