The first shared alumni lounge of Jinan's districts and counties was unveiled in Shizhong district on April 12.

The lounge will provide alumni with a series of services, including project promotion, exchange negotiations, and salon discussions.

To date, the alumni lounge has attracted 13 alumni associations, including Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, and Xi'an Jiaotong University, said Zhang Yongkang, member of the Shizhong district CPC standing committee.

At the event, Xia Yan, vice-chairman of the Shandong alumni association of Zhejiang University, and Zhang unveiled the shared alumni lounge. Cao Meng, vice secretary-general of the Tsinghua University alumni association in Shandong province, spoke as a representative of the attending alumni associations, expressing a hope to deepen cooperation with Shizhong district.

With the official launch of the shared alumni lounge, Shizhong district will expand its channels for talent attraction and intelligence introduction, using alumni to attract talent and intelligence to the district in order to enhance innovation and entrepreneurship in the district.
