A monthlong poetry program has brought Jinan's spring culture to life through interactive experiences, attracting more than 2,000 locals and visitors.

Held as part of Jinan's International Festival of Springs, the event drew on more than 1,000 poems related to Jinan's 72 renowned springs, including Baotu Spring, Wulong Pond, Baimai Spring, and Pearl Spring. More than 200 selected works featuring springs, historical figures, and revolutionary themes were incorporated into five immersive experience zones along Wulongtan Park's garden route.

These zones offered visitors various ways to engage with classical poetry. They could reassemble blocks with famous poetry lines, complete the missing lines of classic verses alongside performers portraying historical figures, and take part in poetry challenges through an AI-powered mini-program.

The program also extended the poetry experience beyond the event through hands-on activities, including water-marbling bookmark making and bamboo-slip crafting. Poetry-themed cultural products, such as journals and poetry blocks, allowed visitors to take home a piece of Jinan's spring culture.
