Shandong Zhongke Advanced Technology Co Ltd (SDAT) in Jinan has achieved a major breakthrough in brain-computer interface (BCI) technology, enabling users to control digital devices using only neural signals, which addresses long-standing challenges in neural signal collection and decoding.

The breakthrough is driven by the integration of artificial intelligence with proprietary large-scale models. The system can capture signals at up to 4,000 times per second, with decoding accuracy exceeding 90 percent.

The technology enables applications such as mind-controlled drones and exoskeleton robots, improving operational efficiency. In the medical field, it is being applied to active rehabilitation systems, allowing patients to control robotic exoskeletons through neural signals. Compared with traditional passive devices, the system has demonstrated improved outcomes, with success rates exceeding 95 percent in visual-evoked tasks.

Looking ahead, the company plans to expand applications into the early screening and treatment of neurological conditions such as depression and Alzheimer's disease, while collaborating with industry partners to scale up deployment.
