The Shunjing international community, which covers an area of 32 hectares, is one of the first demonstration sites of its kind in Lixia district. The community aims to provide an international exchange platform for locals and foreigners.

The signs in its public facilities and promotional brochures feature two languages – Chinese and English. The community also provides free foreign language translation services to facilitate the lives of expats.

The community has set up a service center to provide expats with services covering traditional Chinese cultural experiences, information, visas and daily life. On weekends, the community also hosts international exchange activities. It will conduct free courses that allow local children to learn foreign languages as well as those that teach expats Chinese.
