Jinan, the capital city of East China's Shandong province that is strategically located at the intersection of multiple key economic regions, is set to enhance its comprehensive transportation network and establish itself as an international transportation hub.
With the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region to the north, the Yangtze River Delta to the south, the Bohai Bay Economic Rim to the east, and the Central Plains Economic Zone to the west, Jinan takes a pivotal position in the new development pattern that emphasizes both domestic and international circulation.

The city is also making strides in advancing nine ongoing expressway projects, with an expected total mileage of 918 kilometers by the end of this year. Serving as a vital aerial gateway, Jinan airport currently operates 208 flight routes, linking 120 cities domestically and internationally. The development of urban rail transit and water transportation has also been on a rapid progress.
