Pingyin county, Jinan, Shandong province is making efforts to promote the development of the e-commerce industry and plans to develop into the first live - broadcast e-commerce demonstration county in Shandong province.

The Pingyin county government has signed a cooperation agreement with Beike Video, a e-commerce company, to establish a live broadcast e-commerce center.

Pinyin boasts rich industrial resources and its emerging industries, including machinery and equipment, carbon electrodes, medicine, and cement materials, are developing rapidly. It has also cultivated a series of companies that provide a solid foundation for developing the e-commerce industry.

Jinan-based Beike Video Company is a leading Chinese e-commerce company. The company will rely on its strength in live broadcasting and short videos to help Pingyin cultivate a number of local livestream hosts and promote popular online products to further help develop an e-commerce industrial center in the county.

Wang Xiucheng, head of Pingyin county, said that Pingyin will launch a series of online promotional activities via live stream platforms to promote local products and further promote the development of manufacturing in the county.
