Licheng, one of the 10 urban districts of the prefecture-level city of Jinan, Shandong province is making full use of its historical and cultural resources, including notable historical figures and sites to build cultural blocks and create cultural tourism routes.

The district plans to invest 10 billion yuan ($1.43 billion) in 117 livelihood projects renovating old areas and designing landscapes for streets and river areas in an effort to build a livable district with a high-quality environment for residents.
