China International Import Expo (CIIE), the world's first national-level import expo, took its roadshow to Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province, on July 12.

Organizers hoped to attract interest from buyers in the fields of equipment, food and agriculture. Currently six roadshows have been held throughout the country.

The Business Exhibition at the 2nd CIIE is set to cover an area of 300,000 square meters. As one of the most impressive and popular zones of the Business Exhibition, the Equipment Exhibition Area will debut some of the latest technologies and most groundbreaking products, such as the upgraded version of Waldrich Coburg's Taurus planomiller, which is likely to be the tallest exhibit in the indoor area of the expo, and a high-performing Jungheinrich AG stacker.

In addition, the area will feature an outdoor zone for the first time, showcasing items such as professional mechanical tools and industrial vehicles.

The Food and Agricultural Products Exhibition Area is divided into dairy, fruit & vegetables, meat & aquatic products, snack food, and liquor & beverages, as well as a number of other specialized sections. Among the exhibits will be Danone's essential dairy and plant-based products, Château Lafite Rothschild's vintage wines, and Theland's nutritional fresh milk imported from New Zealand.

In an attempt to help people share the achievements of opening-up and improve living standards, the 2nd China International Import Expo will include an improved range of high-quality products.
